On Location Family Photography
Have camera will travel! I will come to your home and set up my portable studio or we can meet in your favourite park and photograph there. The choice is yours!
Whenever possible, I love to shoot outdoors, the colours, textures and nature as a backdrop provide a wonderful "studio" for me to work in. Blowing bubbles, throwing leaves, kicking a football, jumping in muddy puddles or just a wander through the park can all produce amazing photos.
If however you have a studio theme in mind, I can come to your home and set up my lights, backdrops and props to accomodate those rainy Kent days! Kiddies love watching me set up and get really into 'posing' for the lights and camera. As a mother of a 3 year old, I have, of course, a vast catalogue of songs and nursery rhymes to tease a smile from the shyest model.
I really enjoy interacting with children and want to capture their unique little personalities on my images rather than a cheesy smile. I will spend as much time as needed to coak the real smile from them and freeze that moment in time for you.
Mums and Dads tend to be the shy ones on camera, but rest assured I am extremely friendly and will not be asking you to pose or stand in a way you would never normally! I myself am a lot more comfortable behind the camera, so completely understand. I want you to enjoy the shoot as much as your little ones so will make it as fun as I can for all invlolved.
Have a dog? Well he is part of the family too. Why not involve him in your shoot. Never work with kids and animals they say?! I love it!
Why not pop me a message or give me a call and we can have a chat about your family session.
